November 11 was my birthday, and I…

want to thank friends who wished me well.  As I’ve aged, I’ve come to decide Fall isn’t my favorite time of year because it’s my birthday.  It’s a time where we recognize there are a lot of reasons to be thankful.  If you’re a farmer, it’s a time to be thankful for a harvest.  If you’re a nature lover, it’s a time to be thankful for the lovely display Mother Nature offers us.  If you’re an American, it’s time to be thankful for those who protect our liberties, and I’m talking about soldiers.  Thank you for your service.

Sometimes, it is darkest before the dawn, as was famously quoted before I was even born, but when things seem like they’re out of control in the world, where can we turn for security?  I hope for our better angels to guide those in charge, but if that doesn’t work?  I’m wondering where the nearest bunker is because I don’t have one of my own.

I ask all (one) of you who follow me to put out as much positive energy as possible.  I believe we are in deep need of a hero, and it’s not anyone who is elected to office.

May we all…

I grew up in the rural Midwest before moving to the East Coast with a dashing young man who swept me off my feet, and we've now settled in the desert of Nevada. I write M/M contemporary romance, subgenres: sweet low angst, age-gap, cowboys, mysteries, and military/mercenary to name a few. I am a firm believer in "Love is Love" regardless of how it presents itself, and I'm a staunch ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a loving, supportive family, and I feel blessed by the universe and thankful every day for all I have been given. I’m old enough to know how to have fun, but too old to care what others think about my definition of a good time. In my heart and soul, I believe I hit the cosmic jackpot. Cheers!
