I loved this book I couldn’t put it down.

What would you do to protect someone you love?

Would you give your life to save theirs?

Would you kill to protect them?

Whom would you trust with your secrets?

Hilda Wickersham was the proprietress of the Wickersham Inn, a seasonal bed and breakfast located on the Delaware shore, and she needed assistance for the upcoming summer season. When a young man began squatting on her beach, she remembered her biggest regret in life. That memory stopped her from reporting him to the local chief of police to have him removed. As she observed the young man, Hilda could see the redhead was troubled, and her motherly instincts, which she thought buried long ago, nudged her to extend a helping hand.

Jex Ivers was running for his life. He’d managed to escape from a madman and found himself working for a kind old woman who owned an inn on the coast of Delaware. He could tell the widow was suffering from a broken heart, just like Jex, and she needed his help as much as he needed hers. The two of them found a natural kinship with each other, and Jex believed his life might just turn around if he could stay under the radar for a little while longer. When he met Elijah Moore, Jex hoped it was a sign that his bad luck was changing.

Elijah Moore, the chief of police of Haven’s Point, lived a quiet life. He had a job he loved, good friends, and a cottage on the beach. And…he was lonely. When a stranger showed up and caught Eli’s attention, something about the redhead triggered Eli’s protective nature. When he learned more about Jex’s situation, the chief determined he’d do whatever it took to keep the young man from harm.

An old woman looking for redemption. A young man looking for a new life. A lonely man looking for happiness. What would each of them do to protect the ones they loved? When everything was said and done, what secrets would be whispered to the bees?

I loved this heartwarming and steamy story. Ridge and Cris’ story was so much fun.

Edridge Holiday basked in his reputation as an international playboy, traveling to exotic lands and notching his bedpost without a care in the world, funded by his father’s black card and his trust fund. Life was sublime… until his father had enough.

When JD Holiday insisted Ridge return for Thanksgiving to the family home outside Philadelphia for a come-to-father meeting, Ridge had the feeling his perfect world was about to shatter, and JD didn’t disappoint. Take a job at one of the family toy stores as a photography elf for thirty days. No credit cards. Little cash. A dingy studio apartment. None of the privileges he’d grown so fond of growing up.

Ridge’s older brother didn’t believe the spoiled brat of the family could handle it, so Elliot threw in a sweetener… Ridge would win Elliot’s mint condition Porsche if he pulled it off without any help from the family.

Ridge took the bet, thinking it would be a walk through a winter wonderland. Little did he know, his life would never be the same.

Cristian Gamble worked hard to support his sister after their parents were killed. Cris worked as a mechanic, but from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve, he was Santa Claus at a toy store in West Philadelphia. Cris enjoyed the break in his routine, the joy on the faces of the kids when they told him their Christmas wishes, and the extra money he made didn’t hurt either.

When his sister was invited to the Winter Formal at her prestigious private school, Cris had a big problem… buying a party dress wasn’t in the budget. From out of nowhere, the guy who played Santa for one month a year met someone he believed could be his biggest Christmas wish ever. Was Cris willing to make a holiday gamble with his heart?

Sam E. Kraemer’s books are beautifully crafted tear-jerkers with HEAs and all the feels you want!

Is there a way to unbreak someone?

Kyle Rance would agree that he’d made some bad decisions in his life, walking paths he wasn’t proud he’d walked and suffering painful losses due to his actions. He’d paid the price for his mistakes, and he’d worked hard to try to redeem himself. When he got the opportunity for a fresh start, he decided to make the most of it because it might be his last one.

Through a twist of fate, Kyle came into possession of damning material about one of the partners at the marketing firm where he was given a job in the mailroom after he got out of jail, thanks to a state program for ex-cons like him. As Kyle learned, if the contents of the USB drive were to get out, one of the partners could be ruined.

Kyle approached Grant Cummings with the damning evidence in an attempt to help save the man’s reputation, but what Kyle found upon meeting the aloof marketing wizard was a man who had given up on nearly everything. With the help of a fabulous friend who worked the drag stage as an emcee, Kyle began the strange journey into a world where he never imagined himself… Mistresses… Masters… slaves and submissives…

Helping Grant Cummings return to the land of the living seemed like a worthy endeavor in the beginning, but eventually, Kyle had to ask himself if he was doing it for Grant, or was Kyle doing it for himself? As their futures became intertwined, Kyle had to wonder if he was up for the challenge of guiding someone back from the abyss, and if so, who would Grant be on the other side? For that matter, who would Kyle be as well?
